| The Women's Ministry provides services to First English Lutheran
Church shut-ins through the Sunshine Program. To volunteer, please

Quilt Makers |
| Many of the women at First English Lutheran Church sew quilts for
Lutheran World Relief. If you are interested in sewing or cutting
fabric please contact the church office. You may join the group of
women who meet on various Tuesdays at the church or you may sew or cut
at home. In addition, fabric donations are needed. (Fabric
donations could include items such as curtains or sheets.) |

Wedding Receptions & Anniversary Celebrations |
| Wedding receptions or anniversary celebrations to be held at First
English Lutheran Church may be arranged through the Women's Ministry
Committee group by contacting the church office. |

Bereavement Dinners |
| Families who wish to call upon the services of the women's group at
the time of bereavement should notify one of our pastors. Anyone
interested in volunteering their time for kitchen help or serving at the
bereavement dinners or donating food should contact Carolyn Hesselberth at 692-0675. |

LSSI Tutoring Program at FELC |
| The Tutoring Program serves LSSI Foster children. the children
(grades 1 through 8) come into our church after school on Thursdays for
one-to-one tutoring. With the younger children, the main emphasis
is reading. For grades 4 through 8, math is usually the major
need. More tutors are always needed. we also can use a
computer director to help children write and print out stories.
some clerical help and a hostess are also needed.
