 Available to everybody in the church from preschool ages into adulthood, there is something for everybody each Sunday morning at First English. For preschool children through 8th grade, there is an exciting program waiting. Using Augsburg Fortress’ latest, Firelight, students learn through active, hands-on activities. Teachers are encouraged to tap into a variety of learning styles. So, our volunteer (and highly skilled and enthusiastic staff) bring lessons through the use of arts and crafts, videos, dramas, computers, and a number of other possibilities. The kids open their Sunday School mornings in the gym with a loud and exciting time of worship and prayer. It’s a joy each week to see the children and teachers singing and dancing in the aisles. Sunday school runs from September to May and we are always excited to welcome in new friends!
VBS is for children from preschool to junior high. High school students participate by serving as helpers. Adults are either volunteering or taking part in the Bible study led by Pastor Lillie It is an exciting and uplifting week that we all look forward to!
