The Barnabas program is a caring, nurturing ministry of the congregation. Each Barnabas minister is first trained and then paired with a homebound member. Once or twice a month the Barnabas minister visits and takes Holy Communion to his or her assigned member. The Barnabas ministry also seeks ways to nurture, comfort, and serve his or her homebound member in a caring and compassionate way.
