The Parable of the Sower

The Birds, Wheat, and Thorns symbolize the Word of God in the form of the seed which was sown. Some fell and grew, only to die because it was choked by the thorns. Some fell on top of the ground and was eaten by the birds. Some fell on good ground and grew into ripened sheaves of wheat.
